Hello All,
My inspiration behind co-creating this blog was to create an environment where I can shed some light on issues that are growing in our society and impacting our women. I have witnessed how society impacts the physical, emotional, and mental health of a young woman. The pressures to conform to a certain look, or behave a certain way, have stripped young girls and women of their sense of self and individuality.
I am here to dig beneath the surface and I encourage all of you to do the same. Rather than allowing society to dictate how you should look, act, and in turn how you should feel, let’s try to get to know who we are as individuals. Should it be different than the “norm”, so be it. No matter who you are, where you have been or what you have done in life, there is always something about yourself that you should be proud of and love. Self-acceptance is the key.
I am very happy that you’ve stopped by our blog and I look forward to reading your feedback! Together, we can create a pathway to internal peace and happiness and inspire others to love themselves wholeheartedly. I invite all of you to partake in our discussions and in turn inspire individuals from all different walks of life :-)
With Love,
Jessica

Hi!,
This blog is important to me because every day, I see girls, young women and women who can benefit from words of encouragement, empowerment or simply, to just realize that she is more than the clothes she wears or the mask she dons. I wish young girls would realize that they do not have to impress everyone by being someone that they are not. This little implication transcends over so many areas of one’s life.
I cannot help but notice girls and teenagers who desire to be older than they are, twenties women who are still struggling with who they are and it shows on the outside. I have a filtered vision of things, meaning that I am educated in higher education, I was raised to respect my body, myself and to love God…with all those ingrained morals, values and perspectives on the society and the world, I cannot stand to see certain behaviors that engender a negative conduct by women and to-be-women.
I realize that there are girls and women who respectful, demanding respect, loving and appreciating themselves. To you, I say congratulations, keep it up, and let’s bring our fellow women in on the secret; to love who you are, respect who you are and to seek more for yourself. I don’t know-it-all, but I can help inspire. My hope is to inspire girls, young women and women, to strive for more, one thought at a time.
Thoughtfully,
Whitney
